  • 1:13 p.m. An officer took a report on impersonation of a public official.
  • 5:06 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took an accident report.

Sunday, July 21

  • 9:55 a.m. Officers took a report on possible drug charges.
  • 7:08 p.m. An officer responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident near 22nd Avenue and Elmwood Drive.
  • 7:33 p.m. BPD officers conducted a traffic stop. One person was arrested for DUI.
  • 8:13 p.m. An officer responded to a hit and run accident in the 500 block of Sweetgrass Drive.

Monday, July 22

  • 9:19 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a caller reporting suspicious activity by a neighbor.
  • 11:02 a.m. This case is to document a cell phone extraction for the Hamlin County Sheriff's Office.
  • 11:26 a.m. The CSO unit was advised of a dog bite that happened.
  • 1:01 p.m. Officers took a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
  • 1:04 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a fraud call report. The incident is under investigation.
