10:13 a.m. Officers responded to a vehicle vandalism.
6:17 p.m. Officers took a report of assault.
8:12 p.m, Suspicious activity was reported in Brookings.
Monday, May 15
11:19 a.m. Officer Schneider was made aware of a possible assault that had taken place in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. An investigation was made and a report was generated
11:20 a.m. Officer Schneider was made aware of a weapons violation in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. An investigation was made and charges are pending.
11:32 a.m. Officer Schneider was made aware of a tobacco violation in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. A tobacco citation was issued.
11:47 a.m. Brookings Police Department took a report of a stolen bike. The theft is under investigation.
12:34 p.m. Brookings police generated a report in regard to a juvenile incident.
6:50 p.m. , Law enforcement took a report of a domestic assault. One female was arrested.
7:57 p.m. Officers responded to an accident hit and run. Accident report was completed.
9:26 p.m. Law enforcement investigated a domestic related call. One male was arrested for simple assault domestic abuse.

12:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 Block of 12th Street South for a report of disorderly conduct. One male was placed under arrest for a bond violation. A report was generated.
5:13 p.m. Officers received a report of fraudulent activity that occurred online. A report was generated.
6:13 p.m. Brookings police responded to an altercation between multiple people.
8:18 p.m. Police responded to a juvenile incident.
Wednesday, May 17
8:33 a.m. Obstructed windshield or windows; unattended death.
8:46 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a report of a fire.
9:51 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to an accident.
11:50 a.m. An officer responded to the 2100 block of Sixth Street for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.
4:34 p.m. A juvenile runaway was reported.
5:37 p.m. Officers where called for a contact order violation. A male was arrested.
Thursday, May 18
12:32 p.m. An individual called to report insurance fraud. An investigation is ongoing.
4:40 p.m. An officer responded to a four-vehicle, non-injury accident in the1800 block of Sixth Street.
9:46 p.m. Police assisted a person in a mental health crisis.
