SIOUX FALLS – The South Dakota State men’s basketball team is returning to the Sanford Pentagon Thanksgiving week, as the Jackrabbits will take part in the four-team Crossover Classic Nov. 22-24.

SDSU will join Washington, Nevada and George Mason in the round-robin event, tournament officials announced Monday.

“We are pleased to partner with Complete Sports Management and Sanford Health in what will be another fabulous event. To compete against three quality teams with outstanding traditions is a great opportunity,” said Henderson. “The Sanford Pentagon is one of the most prestigious venues in the country. To play three games in Sioux Falls with our fans going crazy will be an incredible experience.”

On-sale date for tickets, television information and game times will be announced later.

The Jacks are no strangers to the Sanford Pentagon, having played eight games there last season. SDSU took part in the Dakota Showcase and the Summit League Tournament in addition to the season-opening Crossover Classic.

South Dakota State won the Summit League’s regular season title for the fourth consecutive time and its seventh in the last nine years. Baylor Scheierman and Douglas Wilson were all-Summit League performers for the Jacks, who finished the year 16-7.
