WOODBURY, Ind. – South Dakota State shot 598 (298-300) on Monday and sits in 14th place at the Minnesota Invitational, hosted by the Golden Gophers at the 6,479-yard, par-72 Prestwick Golf Club.

WOODBURY, Ind. – South Dakota State shot 598 (298-300) on Monday and sits in 14th place at the Minnesota Invitational, hosted by the Golden Gophers at the 6,479-yard, par-72 Prestwick Golf Club.

San Jose State leads the 15-team field at 7-under-par 569 (282-282). East Carolina is one shot back with a 36-hole tally of 6-under 570 (288-282), while Virginia Tech is third at 3-under 573 (283-290).

North Texas’ Lauren Cox (69-68) and SJSU’s Natasha Andrea Ooon (67-70) are tied for the individual lead with 7-under 137 tallies.

Ten other golfers are under par, with three at 3-under.

The Jackrabbits’ Cassidy Laidlaw sits in a tie for 16th at 1-over 145 (73-72). Teresa Toscano is tied for 21st at 146 (74-72).

Sydney Bormann (73-78—151) is tied for 58th, Lani Potter (79-78—157) tied for 74th and Mia Seeman (78-82—160) tied for 80th.

Competing as an individual, Sydney Wirebaugh (78-83—161) is 82nd.
