Sharon K. Barnes, 61, passed away July 5, 2024, at her home in Brookings.
Born and raised in Doncaster, U.K., she received her RN degree from Doncaster School of Nursing and went off to Saudi Arabia in 1988 to nurse and see the world. She met her future husband Duane there and moved to Oklahoma City to continue nursing and become an Air Force wife. She and Duane lived in Oklahoma, Germany, Florida, Brookings and Oregon during their 35 yrs of marriage.
Survivors include her husband Duane and daughter Molly. Arrangements by Eidsness Funeral Home.
