I am supporting Wayne Avery in his re-election to the City Council.

In his last 3 years on the Council, Wayne has shown that he brings a common-sense approach to the issues. He has put in the time to research the issues and ask questions. As a long-time member of the community he has a feel for the needs of Brookings and its residents. He has been involved with a number of significant initiatives during the past year. They include a Workforce Housing Study, developing a new Economic Development Master Plan, and a study to remodel or replace the City Public Safety Building.

His willingness to work with the city staff and the other council members is probably one of his biggest strengths. Please vote on April 9th, or you can vote early at the Brookings City-County Building.
