  • 2:24 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a theft report. The incident is under investigation.
  • 3:37 p.m. Law enforcement took a theft report.
  • 6:29 p.m. Police responded to 405 First Ave. for an alleged assault.

Tuesday, June 25

  • 3:44 a.m. An officer located individuals in a park after hours, An investigation took place and the individuals were cited for underage consumption.
  • 9 a.m. Officers received a report regarding alleged fraud. A report was filed.
  • 9:57 a.m. One female was arrested for a Brookings County warrant.
  • 5:06 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.

Wednesday, June 26

  • 8:24 a.m. A medical facility called Brookings Police to file a report.
  • 7:22 p.m. Brookings police conducted alcohol compliance checks and a business in Brookings failed to check the identification of the underage buyer. The employee was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

  • 2:45 p.m. Officers responded to a vandalism report in the 600 block of 22th Avenue. A report was filed.
  • 2:53 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a reported theft.
  • 8:21 p.m. A mo-ped was stolen and recovered.
  • 9:46 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver was cited for marijuana possession.
