BROOKINGS — The Brookings Bobcats hosted a triangular at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts as they faced the St. Thomas More Cavaliers and the O’Gorman Knights in a pair of duals.
The Bobcats dropped both duals, falling to the Cavaliers 9-0 and to the Knights 7-0.
Brookings now has a dual record of 2-14 on the season and will travel for in Harrisburg for a triangular with the Tigers and the Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots.
In singles action, Sophie Tanner lost to Athena Francilliso 10-2. Maya Gent also lost to Abigail Oaks by a score of 10-2. Anika Hooda lost to Shriya Gangineni 10-1; Yuki Zhu lost to Amity Strand 10-1; Lada Senchanka lost to Evie Reinicke 10-1; and Alison Glover lost to Elliya Strand 10-0.
Tanner and Hooda lost to Francilliso and Ganginei 10-3 in doubles action. Zhu and Senchanka lost to Amity Strand and Renicke 10-0. Glover and Gent lost to Elliya Strand and Oaks 10-0.
Hooda lost to Lucy Koziara 10-3 in singles action. Tanner lost to Ellie Huber 10-2; Glover lost to Ruby Bender 10-2. Senchanka lost to Wilnel Farhat 10-0; and Gent lost to Victoria Chen 10-0.
Hooda and Tanner lost to Huber and Koziara 8-0 in a doubles match. Gent and Glover lost to Bender and Chen 8-1.
Two matches were not played after an O’Gorman player withdrew due to heat illness.
