The Deubrook Area Dolphins scored a win over Iroquois/Lake Preston while the Elkton-Lake Benton Lady Elks fell to Chester in three sets as part of the local volleyball slate on Tuesday night.
WHITE — The Deubrook Area Dolphins swept the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-9 on Tuesday night.
Zoey Molengraaf and Kylee Johnson both led Deubrook with eight kills. Chloe Haines and Mataya Gouws also had five kills each.
Bauman, Johnson, Molengraaf and Haines each had an ace for the Dolphins while Bauman led with 29 assists.
Johnson had 15 digs and Haines had 10 digs.
Molengraaf had three blocks while Haines and Gouws each had one block.
Hadlee Holt and Natalie Cundy led the Sharks with three kills each. Holt also had two aces, 19 digs and a block for ILP.
The Dolphins improved to 6-6 on the season and will travel to Dell Rapid St. Mary’s for a match on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
The Sharks fell to 1-4 on the season and will host Colman-Egan on Thursday at 6 p.m.
ELKTON — The Flyers swept the Lady Elks in three sets, winning the first set 25-16, the second set 25-21 and the third set 25-18.
Adison Renkly led the Lady Elks with 10 kills. Charlie Thooft had five kills while Maya Jensen and Sydney DeVries had four kills each.
Renkly and Payton Kuehl had one ace each.
Thooft had a team-high 10 digs. Renkly and Quinn Slegers had four digs each.
Jensen, Thooft, Malyha Slegers and Jocelyn Prosch each had one block.
Lily Vanthal led Chester with 17 kills, 28 assists and three aces. Jacy Wolf led Chester with 16 digs and two blocks. Gracie Huntimer also had 16 digs for the Flyers.
The Lady Elks fell to 4-7 on the year and will travel to De Smet for a match beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
