Cradduck, Bushkofsky qualify for State Tournament

Sioux Valley’s Caitlyn Cradduck and Flandreau’s Madison Bushkofsky qualified for the State Tournament on Thursday as the two golfers finished in the top 20 of the Region 1A Golf Tournament.

Cradduck, Bushkofsky qualify for State Tournament

GROTON — Sioux Valley’s Caitlyn Cradduck and Flandreau’s Madison Bushkofsky qualified for the State Tournament on Thursday as the two golfers finished in the top 20 of the Region 1A Golf Tournament.

Cradduck finished in third place in the tournament after shooting a 92. Bushkofsky tied for fifth after shooting a 94.

Sioux Valley as a team came in fifth place as the Cossacks shot a combined 454. Kailey Cradduck came in 23rd (114) and Kassidy Smith came in 27th (123). Lillie Noble tied for 28th (125) and Abygale Degan finished in 30th (141).

The Fliers had one other golfer at the region tournament in Clara Klem. She came in 25th (120).

The Class A State Tournament will be June 3-4 and will take place at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
