DES MOINES, Iowa — No Illusions Martial Arts of Brookings competed in the Future Stars Competition on June 15 in Des Moines.
In the Masters 1 Advanced No-Gi Division, Cary Bingham came in first place. Micki Twedwell finished in first place in the Adult Female Intermediate No-Gi Division. Logan Straube finished in second place in the Adult Intermediate No-Gi Division. Julian Pal competed in the Adult Beginner No-Gi Division.
In the kids portion of the competition, Rebella Raatz came in first in both the Kids/Teens 9-10 White Belt Gi Division and the Kids/Teens 9-10 Beginner No-Gi Division. Joseph Hale finished in second place in the Kids/Teens 13-14 Intermediate Nogi Division and third place in the Kids/Teens 13-14 Gray Belt Gi Division.
“These dedicated athletes have shown remarkable commitment and skill in their respective divisions,” Bingham said. "We are extremely proud of their efforts and accomplishments.”
