OMAHA — No Illusions Martial Arts, a jiu-jitsu school based out of Brookings, competed in a competition at Grappling Industries on Saturday afternoon. Three kids and one adult competed at the event and No Illusions earned a third-place team medal.
No Illusions had four first-place finishes, including Rebella Raatz, who placed first in Nogi White Belt in the age 10-11 division.
Kadin Thompson got first place in the Gi, Grey Belt and the Nogi intermediate Grey Belt in the age 14-15 division.
Micki Twedell was the final first-place finisher topping the Gi, Blue Belt adult female division.
Raatz also finished second in the Gi, White Belt age 10-11 division and Genesis Ramsey finished third in the Nogi, intermediate Grey Belt division for ages 8 and 9.
