FLANDREAU — Sioux Valley improved to 15-1 on the volleyball court on Thursday night as the Cossacks swept Flandreau on the road.
The Cossacks won the first set 25-21 and then took a 2-0 lead with a 25-19 victory. Sioux Valley then completed the three-set sweep with a 25-20 win in set three.
Andrea Renkly had 18 kills, 10 digs and three blocks to lead the Cossacks. Kaedyn Sapp had nine kills, 12 digs and three aces. Caitlin Russell had 21 digs and Emma Gorvin had 11 digs.
The Fliers were led by Sadie Iott who had 10 kills and 22 digs. Addy Hammer had 15 digs and Aly Schepel had 12 assists. Ellla Hoffman had five kills.
The Cossacks host Deubrook Area on Saturday at 5 p.m. Flandreau is 6-15 and hosts Beresford on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
