Brookings High School cheerleaders, including Homecoming Lady Cloë Barber, celebrate the Burning of the B — a BHS homecoming tradition.
Because of a Monday night burn ban due to red flag conditions in the area, this year’s celebration involved electric lights rather than an open flame. Charlie Bisgard was chosen Homecoming Lord.
The homecoming game is Friday at 7 p.m. at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, when the Bobcats play host to the Tea Area Titans.
