Brookings Health System

The Brookings Health System board of directors will meet at 5 p.m. Monday in the hospital board room. Items on the agenda include:

Brookings County Commission

The Brookings County Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:

• Invitation for a citizen to schedule time on the commission agenda for an item not listed

• Approve agenda

• Discussion on American Rescue Plan Act funding options from Brookings Behavioral Wellness, ICAP, Brookings Area United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Fire Fighters Association, Elkton ambulance, EOC generator, Guarantee Roofing – jail roof, Guarantee Roofing – highway and KNOWINK Pollpads

Brookings Park and Recreation

It is possible that at least five Park and Recreation Board members may be present at the ribbon cutting of the new dog park at Sexauer Park. This will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 4 p.m. 

It is also possible that at least five Park and Recreation Board members may be present at the ribbon cutting of the “Play Ball” art piece at Bob Shelden Baseball Field. This will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 4:30 p.m.

Though board members may be present, no official city business will be acted upon.

Public Arts Commission

It is possible that at least five Public Arts Commission members may be present at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the “Play Ball” art piece at the Bob Shelden Baseball Field. This will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 4:30 p.m. 

Though board members may be present, no official city business will be acted upon.

Brookings City Council

It is possible that at least four City Council members may be present in Fort Collins, Colorado, area from Wednesday, Aug. 31, through Sunday, Sept. 4. Though a majority of City Council members may be present, no official city business will be acted upon.
