BID 1 Board

The Business Improvement District 1 Board will meet at noon Monday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:

• Approve agenda

• Approve minutes

• Election of officers for 2023

• Annual report for 2022

• Action to approve a 2024 plan of improvements for Business Improvement District No.1

Brookings City Council

The Brookings City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:

• Approve agenda

• Approve minutes

• Open forum

• Approve minutes

• Action on a resolution in support of an Application for financial assistance to the South Dakota Housing Development Authority by Branch Creek, LLC, and/or its affiliates, agents, or assigns, for the benefit of multi and single-family development

• Action on a resolution awarding a bid for freight-on-board asphalt material

• Proclamation: Global Accessibility Awareness Month

• Proclamation: LGBTQ2S+ Pride Month

• Public hearing and action on a temporary alcohol application from Sodexo Catering, to operate for the Oscar Howe VIP reception to be held on June 9, at the SDSU Alumni Center, 815 Medary Ave.

• Public hearing and action to move a two-story residential home from 1224 Sixth St. to 1125 Third St.

• Action on a resolution to annex 52.7 acres to the city

• Action on a revised preliminary plat of lots in the Wiese Addition

• Action on a preliminary plat for blocks in the Branch Creek Addition

• Action on a resolution approving a naming, advertising, and sponsorship agreement with Dacotah Bank, providing for the currently named “Swiftel Center” be named “Dacotah Bank Center”
