Colman-Egan, Deubrook Area and Flandreau all came away with sweeps in area volleyball action on Tuesday night.

Colman-Egan defeated Canistota, Deubrook Area beat Deuel and Flandreau took down McCook Central/Montrose. Elkton-Lake Benton and Arlington were swept in other area action.

Colman-Egan 3, Canistota 0

COLMAN – Colman-Egan improved to 8-1 on the season as they won the sets by scores of 25-13, 25-7 and 25-13.

Brynlee Landis had 15 kills and 13 digs. Kaylee Voelker had 13 assists and Presley Luze had nine digs and four service aces. Finley Luze had eight assists and Anna Zwart had eight kills. Elaina Rhode had six kills and two aces and Addison Geigle had five assists.

Deubrook Area 3, Deuel 0

CLEAR LAKE – The Dolphins dominated the Cardinals, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-14 and 25-7.

Zoey Milengraaf had eight kills and four blocks to lead Deubrook. Kylee Johnson had seven kills and Chloe Haines had six kills and two blocks. Matte Bauman had 24 assists and five digs. Matti Ramlo had five digs. Brynlee Hanson had two aces.

The Dolphins improved to 7-7 and play Estelline/Hendricks in Estelline on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Flandreau 3, McCook Central/Montrose 0

FLANDREAU – The Fliers won all three sets 25-19.

Sadie Iott led the Fliers with eight kills and 17 digs. Aly Schepel had 14 assists and Morgan Kontz had 13 digs. Olivia Peters had six kills and Addy Hammer had two aces.

The Fliers are now 4-12 and play at Dell Rapids on Thursday at 6:45 p.m.

Baltic 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

BALTIC – The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-23, 25-18 and 25-10.

Andrea Renkly had 14 kills and 16 digs. Charlie Thooft had 22 digs and Trinity Hoem had 11 digs. Malyha Slegers had 23 assists.

The Lady Elks are now 5-9 and host Flandreau on Oct. 1 at 7:15 p.m.

Madison 3, Arlington 0

MADISON – The Bulldogs won the first two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-13 and then won a close third set 30-28.

Jaelyn Huntimer led the Cardinals with 11 kills. Sony Johnson had 15 digs, 14 assists and two blocks. Rachel Steffensen had five kills and Maria Steffensen had eight assists.

Arlington fell to 59 and hosts Dell Rapids St. Mary on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
