VOLGA — The Sioux Valley competitive cheer team won its home meet on Thursday night at the Cossack Center.

The Cossacks had a score of 178 and had zero deductions. Sioux Valley had a score of 89.5 from the first judge and 88.5 from the second judge.

Elkton-Lake Benton finished in second with a score of 136. ELB had a score of 70.5 from each judge and the Lady Elks had five points in deductions. Dell Rapids finished in third (120.5) and Faulkton Area came in fourth (107.5) to round out the competition.

The Cossacks will compete in the Harrisburg Invitational on Saturday at 10 a.m.
