FLANDREAU — The Sioux Valley boys came in first place and the Sioux Valley girls came in second place at the Flandreau Track & FIeld Last Chance Invite on Thursday afternoon.

Boys

Sioux Valley

The Cossacks had 163 points to run away with the team title.

Skylar Trgstad came in first in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:46.32 and he also won the 3200 meter run (11:49.47). Brock Christopherson won the 800 meter run (2:07.15) and Donovan Rose won the 110 meter hurdles (15.64).

Rose also came in second in the 200 meter dash (22.94). Brady Hiltunen came in fourth in the 400 meter run (54.95) and Wyatt Hardt came in fourth in the 300 meter hurdles (47.96) and fifth in the 110 meter hurdles (19.33). Isaiah Hemmestad came in fifth in the 300 meter hurdles (49.17).

The team of Brody Haaland, Jakob Guthmiller, Carson Wosje and Donovan Rose came in first in the 4x100 relay (45.06). Rose, Jakob Guthmiller, Mitchell Guthmiller and Carson Wosje came in second in the 4x200 relay (1:34.41). Christopherson, Wosje, Hiltunen and Mitchell Guthmiller came in second in the 4x400 (3:31.57).

Braden Danzeisen won the long jump with a jump of 20 feet and two inches. Braden Danzeisen came in first in the triple jump (42-01.00) and Brody Haaland came in second (41-00.50).

Mitchell Guthmiller came in third in the high jump (5-08.00) and Jakob Guthmiller came in fourth (5-08.00). Jakob Guthmiller came in third in the javelin (132-11), Braden Danzeisen came in fourth (132-08) and Wyatt Nelson finished in fifth (131-08). Wyatt Nelson came in fourth in the discus (115-07).

Flandreau

The Fliers came in fifth with 117.33 points. Brenton Westberry came in second in the 100 meter dash (11.50) and Logan Kontz came in second in the 3200 meter run (11:52.37). Tanner Reed came in third in the 1600 meter run (5:09.46) and Sam Schmidt came in fifth (5:19.83). Wyatt Kontz came in fourth in the 800 meter run (2:21.04) and Matthew Gassman came in fifth (2:21.86). Daniel Hobbie came in fifth in the 3200 meter run (12:12.89).

Micah Otto, Benjamin Klum, Paul Parsley and Brenton Westberry won the sprint medley relay (3:42.40). The team of Sam Schmidt, Kenton James, Wyatt Kontz and Daniel Hobbie came in second in the 4x800 (9:35.72 and Otto, Parsley, Klum and Westberry finished in third in the 4x400 (3:32.89).

Matthew Gassman won the pole vault (10-00.00) and Sam Schmidt came in second (8-06.00). Micah Otto came in second in the high jump (5-10.00) Luke Sheppard came in fourth in the long jump (17-07.50). Tucker Hemmer came in fifth in the triple jump (38-08.00).

Girls

Sioux Valley

The Cossacks had 132.5 points on the girls’ side. Maci Licht won the 800 meter run (2:21.85) and Isabelle Bloker won the 1600 meter run (4:56.28). Adison Renkly won the 100 meter hurdles (16.44) and Liberty Trygstad came in second in the 800 meter run (2:38.93). Audrey Larsen came in second in the 100 meter dash (13.53), Becka Renkly came in third in the 300 meter hurdles (53.38) and Talya Vincent came in third in the 1600 meter run (5:24.59). Liberty Trygstad came in fifth in the 1600 meter run (5:44.05).

Renkly, Abby Haaland, Caitlin Russell and Larsen came in third in the 4x100 (52.82). Summer Guthmiller won the discus (114-08.50) and Emma Gorvin won the high jump (5-00.00). Rylley Behrens came third in the shot put and Tia Glaus came in fourth (30-03.50). Haaland came in third in the triple jump (31-04.50).

Flandreau

The Fliers came in third with 127 points. Ella Hoffman won the 100 meter dash (13.40), Morgan Kontz won the 200 meter dash (29.59) and Morgan Sheppard won the 400 meter run (1:00.45). Faith Wiese came in second in the 1600 meter run (5:15.75) and Josie Hamilton came in second in the 1600 meter run (12:22.80). Kontz also came in fourth in the 100 meter dash (13.69) and Dreamer Cournoyer came in fifth in the 800 meter run (2:45.94).

Wiese, Westberry, Ella Hoffman and Sheppard won the 4x400 relay (4:06.46) and Kiley Westberry, Sheppard, Hamilton and Wiese in the 4x800 (9:55.19).

Lily Klein came in second in the discus (97-09) and the shot put (32-11.50). Sadie Iott came in third in the triple jump (33-00.75) and fifth in the long jump (14-04.50). Klein also finished in fourth in the javelin (88-00).
