SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota State's Carson Noecker wins the Summit League's Peak Performer of the Week on Tuesday afternoon following a top-10 finish at a Power Four cross country meet, the Roy Griak Invitational.

Noecker clocked an 8K time of 25:16.1, just 21 seconds behind the first-place finisher. The sophomore finished in ninth, six places above his finish last year. 

Noecker's performance led the Jacks to an eighth-place finish, two places higher than the team's placement last season.
