BROOKINGS – This coming Thursday, On Call with the Prairie Doc starts its 21st season, enhancing health and diminishing suffering by communicating useful information based on honest science, provided in a respectful and compassionate manner.

On Call with the Prairie Doc was established by the late Dr. Rick Holm and his wife Joanie Holm, CNP, to provide free medical information based on science, built on trust to all communities in South Dakota and beyond.

This season continues that legacy with Prairie Doc hosts, Dr. Andrew Ellsworth, Dr. Debra Johnston, Dr. Jill Kruse and Dr. Kelly Evans-Hullinger as they provide weekly episodes on SDPB and streaming on the Prairie Doc Facebook page, two weekly podcasts, a weekly radio show hosted by Laura Ellsworth and a weekly perspective (article) that is seen in over 160 newspapers in over 19 states. Prairie Docs will be joined again this coming season during episodes by guest health professionals from communities all over the state.

For more information about the upcoming season head to www.prairiedoc.org, follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or download the latest podcast wherever podcast can be found. Viewers can message Prairie Doc programming and submit questions for the health professionals by emailing contact@prairiedoc.org or through messenger. All questions will remain confidential.
