Lady Elks compete at Arlington Tournament

The Elkton-Lake Benton Lady Elks posted a 3-2 record as they competed in a tournament in Arlington over the weekend. The Lady Elks are now 4-6 on the season and will host Chester in Elkton on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Lady Elks compete at Arlington Tournament

ARLINGTON — The Elkton-Lake Benton Lady Elks posted a 3-2 record as they competed in a tournament in Arlington over the weekend. The Lady Elks are now 4-6 on the season and will host Chester in Elkton on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Warner 2, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

The Royals won the first set 25-15 and the second set 25-19 to claim the victory.

Charlie Thooft had six kills to lead the Lady Elks. Adison Renkly had five kills and Jocelyn Prosch had four kills including an ace.

Renkly and Quinn Slegers each had a team-high five digs and Malyha Slegers had four digs.

Renkly and Prosch each had a block.

Elkton-Lake Benton 2, Faulkton 0

The Lady Elks swept their second match of the tournament, defeating Faulkton 25-21 and 25-13.

Renkly and Thooft tied for the team lead with five kills. Maya Jensen had three kills.

Renkly had a team-high 10 digs. Quinn Slegers had six digs. Thooft had five digs.

Malyha Slegers had 17 assists. Prosch had an ace.

Jensen had two blocks. Thooft and Malyha Slegers each had one block.

Elkton-Lake Benton 2, Deubrook Area 1

The Dolphins won the first set 25-22 before the Lady Elks rallied to win the second set 25-19 and the third set 25-18.

Renkly had a team-high 13 kills. Thooft had eight kills and Prosch had six kills.

Renkly also led the Lady Elks with 11 digs along with Thooft and Malyha Slegers.

Renkly, Jensen and Prosch each had two aces.

Malyha Slegers had 36 assists. Sydney DeVries had one block.

Burke 2, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

Burke won the first set 25-14 and the second set 25-21.

Prosch, Renkly and DeVries each had four kills.

Renkly had seven digs. Quinn Slegers had six digs. Thooft had five digs.

Malyha Slegers had 14 assists.

Jensen and Prosch each had an ace.

Jensen had three blocks, Renkly had two blocks and DeVries had one block.

The Elks won the first set 25-21 before winning the second set 27-25.

Renkly had seven kills. Thooft and DeVries had four kills.

Renkly had 14 digs. Thooft had 11 digs. Trinity Hoem and Quinn Slegers had nine digs each.

Malyha Slegers had 16 assists.

Prosch and Jensen each had an ace.

Jensen and DeVries each had two blocks. Prosch and Renkly each had one block.
