SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota State middle blocker Sydni Schetnan was named the Summit League Volleyball Offensive Peak Performer of the Week for the second consecutive week, league officials announced Tuesday.
Schetnan totaled 31 kills, seven blocks and a .652 hitting percentage as the Jackrabbits went 2-0 during the first week of conference play.
The Sioux Falls native recorded back-to-back matches with double-digit kills. Schetnan posted 17 kills with a .680 hitting percentage and was responsible for 19 points in a five-set victory over Oral Roberts. The Jackrabbit redshirt junior then registered 14 kills, five total blocks, and a .619 hitting percentage in a four-set victory over Denver.
